About Us
Who We Are
Following the tragic Uvalde, Texas, shooting and killing of innocent victim school children and teachers on May 24, 2022, and the fact that school shootings with casualties increased from 11 in 2009 to 93 in 2021(National Center For Educational Statistics) we must do all that we can to support gun safety in America.
Realizing that parents in America are doing their job of raising their children, who are our grandchildren, we families and grandparents have more time, and perhaps money, to work for and support gun safety in America.
A huge group of concerned grandparents, we can do 3 things:
- Stay informed about the incidences, origins & enablers of gun violence;
- Persistently focus on politicians to simply “do the right thing” by passing laws that actually help to protect our children, as well as all others in America;
- Join with already established gun safety groups to support them personally and financially.(SEE BELOW)
